About Us

1. Planning
We have the best planned classes and structure that ensures effectiveness and safety for all our students! We set goals for each class, and while some students can perform better and learn more quickly than others, we ensure all students have goals to work toward. In setting our classroom goals, we can identify each individual’s strengths and weaknesses.

2. Motivation
We ensure all our students (children and adults) are motivated to learn. Our classes ensure they learn new skills and acquire the correct knowledge to continue studying martial arts for a long period of time.

3. Recognition of Individual
Every individual has a different way of perceiving and understanding the world around him. Since we are teaching students who are individuals we ensure that every person learns at his/her own pace and to the best of his/her ability. We make certain that our classes are balanced. We always strive to teach effectively, thus setting the standards for students, as well as encouraging their individuality.

4. Practice
Regardless of their individual needs and differences, all students need the opportunity to practice what they have learned. Repetition is the best method of practice to perfect a skill. When students reaches the advanced level, practice becomes even more important because of the broad scope and difficulty of techniques being learned. In addition to regularly scheduled classes and supervised practice sessions, many students may need specific guidelines for their personal practice sessions. If a student practices three times a week in the school, he/she should practice two or three times by themselves. These additional practice sessions might include things not fully covered in class such as interval training, stamina work, short and long distance running, speed training, weight training, etc.

All our classes and planned and diverse, and include training for power, speed, endurance, strength, flexibility, and reflexes. Practicing is the road to mastery. There are many paths to take. Some are uphill, some are downhill, and some are long flat stretches of smooth sailing. As our student we will monitor your progression, when you are struggling uphill, we will gently push you higher.

5. Performance Assessment
Performance Assessment is a core part of our Dojang, as we comprehensively check a student’s progress and correct errors in his/her performance. We will appraise individual student’s performance and determine their current skill level. In doing this, we can identify bad habits, and give feedback on this. Feedback simply means letting you the student, know on how you are progressing!
We love nothing more than to give positive feedback to all our students, to continue to check each student’s progress regularly with particular attention to his or her previous difficulties.
